What accidents does the policy cover?
- Traumatic injuries to tissues and organs of the body with disruption of their integrity and functions, deformation, or impairment of the musculoskeletal system caused by external influences (traumas);
- Wounds;
- Anaphylactic shock;
- Asphyxia due to accidental entry of foreign bodies or liquids into the respiratory tract (drowning; suffocation, etc.);
- Lightning strikes, electric shock;
- Heat stroke;
- Burns (except for sunburn);
- Frostbite;
- Overheating;
- Hypothermia;
- Animal, insect, snake bites, etc.;
- Accidental poisoning by gases, industrial and household chemicals, poisonous plants, medicines, low-quality food products (during hospitalization for more than 3 days);
- Injuries sustained during the movement of vehicles as a result of their accidents, when using machinery, tools, mechanisms, labor tools;
- Diseases such as rabies, tetanus, botulism, malaria, tick-borne encephalitis, poliomyelitis, hematogenous osteomyelitis;
- Other sudden, accidental, short-term, unforeseen injuries resulting in an accident.
Does the insurance cover accidents resulting from military actions?
Yes, accident insurance covers health disorders or death resulting from the use of firearms, mines, grenades, bombs, rockets, and other weapons of war.
What age group is suitable for accident insurance?
This insurance can be arranged for everyone, without age restrictions.
Who cannot be insured under the accident insurance contract terms?
- Persons recognized as incapacitated;
- Individuals with disabilities of groups I-II;
- Volunteers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- Medical professionals;
- Volunteers.
What is the term of the insurance and its cost?
Accident insurance is valid for 1 year. The cost of the policy depends on the age:
- 7-75 years old - 500 UAH/year;
- up to 6 years old - 600 UAH/year;
- over 76 years old - 1000 UAH/year.
How much coverage does the insured person have?
The insurance coverage is 50,000 UAH per year:
- up to 20,000 UAH - in case of injury;
- 30,000 UAH - in case of a fatal accident.
Are there any deductibles under the accident insurance terms?
Yes, the deductible is 15 days. Payments are made for insured events that occurred no earlier than 16 days after the start of the contract. The contract becomes effective the day after the insurance payment is made.
What is the territory of coverage for accident insurance?
The insurance is valid within the territory of Ukraine (except for areas where military actions are taking place or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, where the actual control of the authorities of Ukraine does not apply).
What exclusions does this insurance program contain?
Unfortunately, we cannot insure:
- Persons with disabilities of groups I-II;
- Incapacitated individuals;
- Volunteers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, SBU, Foreign Intelligence Service, Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, National Guard, State Border Guard Service, State Protection Service, State Special Communications Service, and Information Protection, State Special Transport Service;
- Military prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office, employees of the State Emergency Service, court security officers, officials of the special operations unit of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, and police officers, as well as individuals of the rank and file and command staff of the State Penitentiary Service serving in the agencies and institutions of the aforementioned Service.

To apply for insurance, you need:
- Internal passport or ID card.
- Identification code.
In case of an insurance event occurrence, follow these steps:
- Seek assistance from a medical institution or other competent authorities and adhere to the recommendations of the doctor or representatives of competent institutions.
- Notify the insurance company «Misto» within 3 working days through any means that allow the notification to be recorded (in writing, by phone, fax, email).
- In the event of the insured person's death due to an accident, the notification must reach the insurer from the policyholder (beneficiary) within 2 weeks from the date of the insurance event occurrence.
Documents confirming the insurance event occurrence:
To receive insurance benefits in the event of an insurance event occurrence, the beneficiary provides the insurer with the following:
- Written application for insurance benefits according to the form established by the insurer (including electronically with an electronic digital signature).
- Medical documentation (consultation reports, copies or excerpts from outpatient cards or medical history indicating the insured person's full name, date of visit to the medical institution, diagnosis).
- Certificate from the traffic police if the insurance event occurred as a result of a road traffic accident.
- Birth certificate of the insured person.
- Passport and identification number certificate.
- Death certificate in case of the insured person's death.
- Bank statement with the recipient's account details for transferring the insurance benefits (providing account details received through internet banking is allowed).
- Other documents, upon the insurer's request, which are significant for recognizing the event as an insurance event and/or which enable clarification of the facts, causes, and circumstances of the event.
If there is a lack of documents and/or impossibility to establish the facts, circumstances, and causes of the insurance event based on the provided documents, the beneficiary, upon the insurer's request, must provide all necessary documents to establish the circumstances of the insurance event.
The documents are submitted to the insurer in the form of original copies or notarized copies, or simple copies, provided there is an opportunity to compare this copy with the original document, or an electronic copy of the original paper document. In this case, the policyholder/beneficiary, when providing electronic copies of paper documents to the insurer, assumes full responsibility for having the originals of the documents provided and is obliged to provide the originals of the documents to the insurer upon its first request within the timeframe determined by the insurer.
The documents specified in this Agreement may be provided to the insurer in person and/or submitted using postal services, and/or through the insurer's website, and/or by sending to the insurer's email address.
