Updates and changes to the Pregnancy and Childbirth programs

Dear Vinnytsia Residents!

To provide better and more comprehensive services to pregnant women and new mothers, and in response to rising costs of medications and medical services, changes have been made to the pregnancy and childbirth programs "Oberig," "Oberig Plus," "Leleka," and "Leleka Plus." Additionally, a new insurance product, "Oberig Screening," has been introduced.

Over the past three years, Insurance Company "Misto" has not adjusted the pricing for these insurance plans, despite a 30% to 50% increase in the costs of tests, diagnostics, and medications. These factors, coupled with the aim to improve the fulfillment of our insurance commitments to hospitals, medical facilities, pharmacies, and Vinnytsia residents, have prompted us to modify our pregnancy and childbirth insurance programs and revise the prices for some of them.

To ensure the confidence and reliability of these insurance products for Vinnytsia residents, coverage amounts have more than doubled. Now, the insurance covers the treatment of more costly complications during pregnancy or childbirth. The coverage for pregnancy risks has increased from 2,000 UAH to 3,000 UAH, while the childbirth coverage has been raised from 20,000 UAH to 50,000 UAH. The updated programs offer greater assurance and security for pregnant women and new mothers. Additionally, the list of illnesses covered for inpatient treatment has been expanded.

The new pregnancy insurance program, "Oberig-Screening," covers the cost of genetic disorder diagnostics and the detection of pregnancy complications at an early stage. This insurance product includes a comprehensive set of tests during the first trimester.

These changes will take effect on November 4, 2019.
