Vaccination at enterprises of Vinnytsia for insured persons in IC "Misto"

Influenza is one of the acute infectious diseases that spreads rapidly.

According to the Ministry of Health, during the 2019-2020 period, the number of Ukrainians who will contract the influenza virus and acute respiratory infections is estimated to range from 4.8 million to 6.7 million people.

The influenza virus spreads particularly quickly in places with large gatherings of people and within workplaces.

Vaccination is the most effective way to combat the virus. This is why every year, at the start of the epidemic season, Insurance Company "Misto" conducts vaccinations at the enterprises it serves under voluntary health insurance programs.

This autumn, IC "Misto" provided vaccinations for insured employees of leading enterprises in Vinnytsia region, including "Agrarna Frut Ukraina" LLC, "Austria Juice Ukraina" LLC, PPO "Vinnytsia Regional Road Service," "Koziatyn Meat Processing Plant" LLC, "OSI Food Solutions Ukraine" LLC, and employees of Vinnytsia City Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2.

Vaccinations for insured persons working at these companies who have medical insurance from IC "Misto" were provided free of charge. They received a high-quality and safe French-manufactured immunobiological product, "Vaxigrip," effective against four strains of the virus. Preventing influenza helps employees save on treatment costs, which, according to various analysts, averages between 420 and 2,800 UAH for respiratory illnesses in Ukraine.
