Rules of entry into Ukraine for foreigners
As of July 1, 2023, the Covid-19 restrictions on entering Ukraine have been canceled - neither a negative PCR test nor a vaccination passport is required.
Foreign citizens are required to:
- passport document (citizens of Turkey and Georgia are allowed to enter on the basis of an ID card);
- visa or permit for temporary / permanent residence in Ukraine;
- confirmation of the purpose of the stay (for example, a document confirming family ties for those who go to visit relatives);
- financial support during the stay in Ukraine;
- return ticket.
A mandatory document for obtaining a visa or residence permit in Ukraine is медичне страхування іноземців.
A trip to Ukraine due to the full-scale aggression of the russian federation carries serious risks for foreign citizens entering the country. Currently, to enter Ukraine, citizens of our country need: a foreign passport or an identity card for returning to Ukraine.
